    Newb. question

ok so just got my 20V 06 from previous owner...previous owner says Dual battery system has an isolator and stereo equipment is seperate from engine battery so if you kill stereo battery listening to music boat will still start on the other battery. My question is both battery switches engine compartment and under seat need to on to turn on the stereo. wouldnt that mean that they are not seperate? Can someone explain.

The Tige EIDB system allows you to run lights and stereo off off the "house" battery with out draining the "starting" battery via an Isolator. As far as 2 switches, you got me got any pics? Sounds like the previous may have added a 2nd switch, so its hard to say how it is wired. My on/off switch only disconnected the starter from the starting battery, nothing else.

    Congrats and welcome to Tigeowners.com

thanks for the info...working on pics when the weather gets a bit better been cloudy and rainy here in seattle.

As for the 2 switches both look factory installed. one switch is under the sun deck next to the motor. Switch 2 is under the seats directly behind the drivers seat.

I guess when the weather clears a bit and it is warmer I'll just go out and see where the wires go and try to figure it out.

If this set up sounds familiar to anyone let me know how it works.
