Thanks surfdad, I was curious to know if you put any of that in the bow.

In Texas you dont need an observer or skier down flag.

Me and the dog (not you Dog ) were always in the back of the truck. I was pretty stoked when we got a camper shell for it for those trips to the lake. The only problem was that it trapped the dog farts in. Then the folks would close the slider to the cab and I'd be left to stick my head out the camper window while the dog just sat there stewing in his own juices. I can only imagine how that looked to passer-by's. Usually it's the dog with his head out the window.

Hey, I do appreciate the concern. A couple of things to note. We'll only ever have 1 person there who's main job is helping with the rope (and preventing rope related injuries) and they're usually holding onto the cleat. Also, we're only ever going 10 mph.

I wouldn't ever allow this at anything above surf speeds. As with everything else, it's all about common sense.

I thought there was more to that picture. Pictures can tell you a lot but not everything.

              It's all good.

                Matt,

Thanks! For a 21I I thought they work pretty well I Like it, and they are a clean wake at wakeboarding anyway The surf is clean too, just doesn't show it. My good pics I can't find

As for the kid sitting on the back, You can argue it or not, but it all comes down to what your comfy with. None of us are 100% compliant with the laws. Just as long as we are safe, we can all have fun.

I'm still not used to all of these STUPID cali laws!

I love when you Californians move here and ask "you mean you can do that?"

usually as I'm chasing my free range chickens around in my un-mowed yard with fireworks (in august) while drinking from an open container in public and burning my trash.

Curious, I keep hearing Enzo mentioned when talking about surfwakes. I am not aware of the reference. Are the Enzo boats the bomb at surfwakes or something? Sorry for the ignorance. :-)

Tequila, I was in Montana, I do believe and I almost had a stroke when a local was complaining about their legislature...they were convening to start passing some laws, he grumbled...then went on to say, I don't know how they can even stay busy the 3 months they are in session!!!!! Oh my goodness! We have a fulltime legislature here in CA and they can't even pass a BUDGET in 3 months!

Dinner time, but I'll come back to the Enzo question, after. Never call me late for dinner!

Enzo surfwake. IMO, the 24 Enzo throws probably the best wake in terms of length, shape and size. The Enzo has a significant V - next time you are at a boat show, check the transom. It's also extremely weight sensitive, if you ever see pics posted on sites like WW, or like the folks from Inland - they always have the same umber of people in the same locations It's not quite that bad, but even shift just a few hundred pounds affects the wake.
Also to get that wake, you have to run at about 13+ mph, anything less and there is a decided secondary lip that cuts the effective height of the wake. The Enzo also has an option for a counter rotating prop. If you go to the Inland Surfer website you'll never see a picture of the starboard side wake. The reason is that the Enzo will only throw a decent wake on the side that the prop is rotating, if you order the Enzo with the switchblade, you have to remove the blade to even get a decent wake on the opposite side, with the blade still on...it's not even surfable.

So...the Enzo, IMO creates an incredible surf wake, but it's not versatile and I'm not sure that I would even call it recreational. In contests, I love it. Best wake, hands down for the port side wake when using an Enzo sac and 200 pounds of lead in the starboard locker at 13.2 mph

Got it, I figured something along those lines. Its amazing to me how UNsensitive my 24Ve is to weight shift. With my 220 Horizon, you had to balance just right, and it was as heavy a boat. The Tige is very stable, and is not so sensitive.

This summer, we have 4 different families coming to visit us, to enjoy the lake for a few days at a time. We will have from 12 - 14 people on board at this times. I can't wait to see the wake I can make then. I will post when it happens.

Thanks for the info. I have been boating since I was 12, but new to the inboard world.

Finally got some decent shots of our mild mannered surf wake.
