6 so far with two maybe's. You would be the third maybe. No word yet on any additional price breaks. I'll update when I can.

The stainless is what throws the price up. I have a guy in New Orleans getting back to me on pricing a custom one out.

I think the FAE from fresh air exhaust are all stainless. If that's the case, then that's why the price is so high, and if was a little cheaper then I will buy one. However if it isn't, then I am not going to pay $400. I can a similar design built local for <$100, or so I was told by the shop; but I would prefer stainless vs. replacement every 3 years; so once you get the pricing in, I might be in on this buy.

They are all stainless, either powdercoated black or polished. The polished adds a little to the cost.
              Let it be!!!

well I want black all the way.

                  laketime,

It basically takes your exhaust, and puts it into the prop water, so that way the water carries it away, instead of it coming up and through the air.

                  in a nutshell, make sense?

It's actually kinda simple. First, it makes for one great muffler. Second, it reduces the amount of Carbon Monoxide (Co) in the area of the riders because it redirects the exhaust down into the prop wash. The exhaust (and harmful Co's) are carried away with the churned up aerated water. With out the FAE, the exhaust outlets are either just under the water or just out at boarding speeds, depending on the boat's weight and speed, so the exhaust rises just behind the boat and hangs there at the riders level.

I just talked to the guy at FreshAirExhaust. Seems like a good guy. The group deal they did a few months ago was a flat $300. This one is 20% off, so the difference is only a couple of bux either way.

He also said that the 20% is really as far as he can go because he has to protect the dealers he has out there.

As far as fitting different boats, he said he can fit any inboard. If he doesn't have it in his database, just do the measurements and he'll get it done.

He said they are not doing any stainless right now, unless they have it in stock. They had some issues with the supplier, so they've stopped ordering that for now. He said the black is a "Darth Vader Helmet" black, uv protected etc etc.

                        So far I have:
                        sacnvr218 - 06 20V
                        ctcranor - 06 20V
                        DOMZ06 - 03 21ir
                        jeremiah22 - 06 24V
                        wfsims - 98 PRE2002
                        jleger98 - 97 PRE2150wt

Anyone else want in? CP?? Spharis??

um, no offense but who cares about the dealers, that's what makes it so great for a group buy. I think you should fight it a bit more. Either that or where is a dealer at? we should call him and see he would take 6-10 at a better price.

if your guy can do it for 100, i'm in on this one. I'll have it powdercoated black, and then that will be just as good as stainless, oh wait, we can't get stainless anyway.

Wait....the way that is put and if what he is saying is that the powder coated ones are not stainless? If that's the case then hells no....I can get one made local. Can anyone double check the stainless vs. powder?
