We often go eight deep on boards - all in tower racks / none in compartments. The following link should take you to a pic of where I have the racks mounted on the tower (I think this is what you're asking).

They have new racks now that hold boards on top of the tower too. Dunno who makes em. But I like the setup that T* has. Looks like he means business

well we put one of the boards in the rear locker this weekend becouse we had 5, and its just a hastle. the rear lockers are the only way to put a board in storage, and they are just so deep an tough to stuff a board in. pluss we keep dry jackets in one rear side and wet ones in the other, so getting a board in and out from the bottom just sucks.

but those racks look good and clean on the tower. thats just what we need. how much are they??

Thanks guys. Yeah, I can still bust it up with the best of 'em. Last year I was injury free - so far this year (through April) I've got separated ribs and a cracked bone in my foot. I had a trip booked to Orlando Water Park to ride the cable last week, so had to grit my teeth through that It went like: 'Oh' (the dock start off of the cable dock is a rib-jarring event), to 'Sh!t' (the four foot drop off the dock felt great on the foot) - thank goodness for Darvocet! OWC is a GREAT time I hope to go down there healthy next year.

Racks: http://dev.monstertower.com/racks.htm They run $235 each - I think they gave me a small discount for buying a pair, but that was years ago. Give it a shot.

Tower: Dealer installed a Wake Designs Monsoon on the boat before putting on the floor. It was a proto-type that Tige decided not to roll out in mass. It is a little taller than the in-house Tige tower.

Have a great time w/your new ride. Safety first!

One of the manufacturer's came out with a "L" shaped 4 board rack this year, I just don't remember which one. I saw it over on wakeworld.

I wonder if their "quick release for easy storage" is a swivel system.

                              Agreed - Ouch.
Not to mention, I prefer a board rack that doesn't require instructions on getting the board in or out
