Here is what I use to keep my boat and trailer out of the sun when not in use. I have used it for two summers now and it works great so far. I still have the snap down cover on it though. It also covers it so people don't see it behind the fence during the summer when I have the speakers and light bar on it.

We use something like this.....Attached FilesPut your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein

It is my board racks sticking out. The cover is for a Class A motor home. It is a little loose in areas and sags in some but I just put balled up rags in the corners and use bungee cords around those and under the trailer to the other side and it pulls it down tight. It survived 70-80 MPH a few weeks ago. The nice thing about this over other types of canopy's and structures is that it covers the whole boat and trailer. It keeps the tires, trailer, and complete boat and cover out of the sun and wind. No sand blasting from the wind, no UV damage from the sun, and it keep the whole thing hidden for theft reasons as well as makes it difficult to get into or on the boat to steal anything. Cheap insurance. No the coolest looking thing but it does the job well. and my boat and trailer are clean each time I take off the cover unless a dust storm hits (I hate all the new construction going on around me).
