Ragboy, That sounds like fun but I don't think we are going to make it this year. Next year might be different. This year we are just going to plan our regular 4th of July outing and then go home. We usually throw a party for our friends but this year we own a house with a mortgage payment whereas last year we were renting a house and paid almost next to nothing rent. So, if you are able to take pictures, I would be interested in viewing them.....

Oroville has floating toilets all over the lake. You just dock to them, and do your biz. They are not like ones I have seen on other lakes. They are stainless steel toilets, they flush, very clean. So we just go pull up to one, do the morning dukee, and good to go. Its a lot better than making some early morning driftwood.

Oroville also has something unique, but they are always booked almost a year in advance, they are floating campsites. I haven't seen them, til I came here. There are only like 10 on the lake, and demand is much greater, so you have to book way in advance. But they are very cool, and they are some of the best spots you would want to be in the water.

The way it looks like, we should have a NorCal Tige Reunion there one year. That drive to Lake Mead would be a killer... 10 hours of driving from Sacramento....

y, they are very cool. They are as nice as in pictures. I have been to everyone on my boat to check them out, and have gotten on them. They are as nice as they look, and are a bit bigger then they look.

I would be down with that. I think we may be going to shasta for a few days in august, up by lakehead.

Shasta would be a good call also. That way the Northwestern USA Tige owners can go.... Hum......

Love my Shasta...been going there since college. I drive by the houseboats on ski island every year and daydream a little thinking about the college times spent there...then my kids interrupt me with, "I wanna tube! I wanna tube!".

I have been eyeballing the house boat rentals there for next year after Labor Day..the price drop almost in half!
