There is already a cup holder for the driver so that is not its purpose. I could see it being useful for an easy place to put a drink down while shuffling boards and gear around by one of the passengers or for the person in the water. Of course you would never subject a beer to being isolated and left alone in that spot, but I wouldn't feel bad about putting a water bottle there. I am usually carrying one of those plastic quart bottles in the boat. That one thing I really like about the cup holders is the size, easily holds a coozie or one of those water bottles.Originally posted by da.bell View PostWho is going to use that cupholder????
