I never thought of the ski pylon area as being part of the hull...but now that you think about it, I guess it is! I wonder what Andrew or one of the Tige reps would have to say.
Who is going to use that cupholder???? Both driver and passenger will have their backs to the cupholder... What were they thinking?
My guess would be that that cupholder is for when you are all sitting around tossin' a few back. I think it is more to be used for when you are using the "backrest" as an armrest and are facing the center of the boat instead of out the back. It is kind of an awkward location though...
If you ain't falling.. you ain't trying hard enough..

Wake, I understand that you were joking but I still don't understand Tige's reasoning behind this.
Why would you even think about reaching over the backrest that far from the middle of the boat only to put you beverage in the cupholder or even turn all away around to obtain it if you are thirsty from the seating area?
Sorry but I just can not figure this one out. Can someone from Tige explain this one?
What else would you have them put there? Ever see those cupholders by the glove box? You're not facing them either.
Yes, but you don't have to lean over 18-24 inches of fiberglass.... Why didn't they just put it on the end where it would have made sense but that could have been knocked over.... Oh well, it wouldn't stop me from purchasing it but I find it as being placed in an odd part of the boat.....

Analysis Paralysis .
Simple answer Someone working on the design said "You know people do love cupholders, let's put on in that empty spot"
"I want to know God's thoughts, the rest are just details"
