Why at your own risk? No where on the RZ2 does it say not to pull a tube therefore I do and if there is a problem Tige will have to deal with it. I think on some older models they posted not to pull a tube from the pylon but not on the RZ2. They only thing it warns you it is up to you to tighten the pylon from time to time.

So I guess that you can pull from the pylon for the first year, after that it would be out of your own pocket?

I would be interested to see the exchange when the person who first cracks their fiberglass on the pylon tries to get it covered as a warranty item.

My pylon has an orange sticker that says not to pull more than one skier, doesn't the RZ2 pylon say that too? It is right next to the sticker that says it is the owner's responsibility to tighten it. So I guess the 5 man water weenie is probably out of the question.

To Tige's credit, I have only had direct knowledge of the pylon ripping the fiberglass once, (and the dork that had the pic of it deleted it before sending it to me). I now use the pylon, because I have found the harness to be too cumbersome, and it puts the tuber another 8-10 feet back where the wake is too wide unless I go 30 MPH. So I am waiting to have my own pic of a damaged pylon, but so far, so good.

I think I see your problem.

I hadn't thought of that. Hmmm, maybe they will come up with something for you tubers.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Lookin bad azz man!!! I really like how they did the cupholders in the bow compared to the RZ2, the RZ2's are unusable with the bow cushion in.

There is no sticker that states not to pull more than one skier. If I recall is it a lifetime warranty on the hull?

I was thinking about the "E" series vs. "Z" series towers and I can't help but think that the "Z" series should be a lot more solid since the rear mounts are like a foot long vs. the smaller, round mounts on the "E" series. Has anyone had the pleasure of seeing both on the water?

I see they put a cup holder on the seat back behind the driver.

                              Timmy!-
I have a collapsible hamper with close line clips (plastic) that I use to attach a trash bag to the hamper. I put this in the rear locker under the walk through and I keep my American Outdoor Cooler in there as well. It is very convenient and out of the way. What is nice as well I can take the trash can out and put it on the beach or the front of the boat when we are hanging out at a beach.
