Well, I have the same boat as you do and I concur totally. Sounds like a Geo Metro car horn. Actually, I would give the Geo Metro more credit because it is louder.
I think I sould have compared this to a lawn mower horn.
That is only there to get the attention of the riders in the bow
But it does meet USCG req. as a "sounding device"

What planet are they from???? I have heard baby birds chirp louder.
Never said it was loud, just said it made a noise for this reason, I have always carried an air-horn

Well at least I discovered it in my driveway instead of on the water that could have been embarassing
Well, I would like to thank the Wakeboard Gods for looking down on me for not finding out on the lake also... Not sure where I found out but it was NOT on the lake for sure. Might have been the dealership or like you. Oh well, no use losing sleep over it though.....

Now that is what I need to get or change out my horn. Can you imagine using this boat horn when a jetski cuts you off????? How embarrassing that would me.
I hate stock horns. I have very loud train air horns on my truck and needed something on the boat. I found these and they work great. I mounted them on the wall by my feet and everyone hears it when it is honked. Check them out!
That would be interesting to do in California since the majority of the people here are Mexican decendants.... Not to mention, that would be kind of funny to hear that one on the lake. You would definitely get some heads turning.

.... it will turn heads but no one will get out of the way.
Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein
G, very good point. Well, La Cuca Racha horns are not the answer... We just need to find out how to install a truckers horn and place the horn on the tower. Now, that would get some attention and panic looks...

Get some wetsounds or NVS on your tower and download a police siren to your ipod. Put a bit of fear in them!
Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.
