    it's a-go on the 2000 21i!

we went to check it out today as planned. that is one awesome boat! it is 7 years old, but it has been taken care of so well, it looks like it has only been used for a single season. the current owners have done a fantastic job keeping this boat in great condition. it only has 163 hours.
we met the couple on lake austin. they gave us a run down of the basics. we took it for a spin, etc. my buddy is taking possession tomorrow. we'll be on canyon lake next weekend!

anywho, here are some fresh pics from this morning.....

it has a full cover for storage and whatnot, but they never got a bimini cover for it. they said they just used the wake boards on the tower as shade.......we will be looking into a bimini cover ASAP.
it is the original tower "metcrap" i guess. it seemed solid enough to hopefully last at least this season. the dude hung from it and it didn't creak or squeek or shift in any direction.

wow that is really clean for a 7 year old boat, there is a lot of trees nd stuff were we keep ours, so we get all kinds of crap fallin inside. We have to clean ours out every 3 days rougly. looks a good buy!

they keep it in a closed, covered storage unit. and they said they clean it after ever use. it really shows. no cuts, snags, or stains anywhere..carpet or seats.

I just bought the exact same boat in January. I am super excited about trying it out but unfortunately the lakes are still frozen up here in Canada. Maybe in a couple of weeks?!? I'll let you know how it goes. Nice boat!

              Great find!

Yes, that is the Metacraft tower that has failed on so many people. The welds under the pads on top of the tower is where it most often fails. Just keep up with it, check them every couple times out, and you'll be fine.

              Great looking boat!

Now that boat looks like the previous owner took care of it. Very sharp and looks like a great pick.

yeah, they were anal about this boat.....and that is definitely not a bad thing. it received regular (scheduled) maintanence from the austin Tige dealer. oil was changed every 70 hours. always winterized. was stored in closed storage when not in use. was thoroughly cleaned after every use. they both come from boating families, so they know the value of taking care of your boat.

the tower pads are brand new for this season. the Tige decals on the sides are 2004 edition. the original 2000 decals wore so they just replaced them with a newer design.
the trailer looks great; looks brand new. they mainly boated in lake austin and it is stored not more than 15 minutes away, so there is plenty of tread left, and no dry rot. license plate needs a new ziptie or screw, but other than that...it's really nice.
has a JVC cd player and 4 speakers. not exactly what i would have, but it will get the job done for now. there is nothing wrong with it, it's just stock quality. i'm sure ya'll understand.

now you just have to get some weight in that thing

                            great looking boat.

Just one comment and not trying to take away from your thunder, but you might want to Razzman. Your trailer may be pushing the edge of the envelope as far as weight with it only being a single axle. Might want to look into a different one, or possibly a beefier tire.

Back to the good stuff, the boat looks amazing!! welcome to the family!!

Nice boat! My mother in law has a B&B on Canyon Lake. I was down there a month or so ago to get a car. Next time I'm down I'll post up.
