I was going to go with hooking the wire coming off of the the starter lug that normally goes to the battery and hooking that to the Isolator. Then have two new wires going to the two battery banks. So, why is it better to go directly from the alt to the iso?

Ok, here goes: Transom remote.....yep you guessed it, on the transom
Batteries (2) and the sub went in the port-side storage
Then the amps and ip-bus adapters went in the starboard-side dry-storage compartment.
I still need to clean the wiring up and make it look nice, but......too lazy now that its all working.
Then the HU went in the traditional place, the ipod adapter is right next the console and the remote panel for the battery charger is under the console.
