I just bought a 95 tige from a guy who barely used it he was 65 and kept the boat in immaculate condition with only 73hrs on it for $11,500 this is my first boat and have taken it out a few times after some routine maintenance and the boat runs and handles like a dream. I want to add some features to it so I can wakeboard, right now it has almost no wake unless you have alot of people on board. can anyone suggest a quality with a good price tower and how would you go about adding weight, fat sacs or something of the sort. I figure I have come to the right place.

I just sold my 1995 Tige about a month ago and I used to wakeboard/wakesurf behind it all the time. It wasn't the best wake ever because, like you said, without weight the wake is flat as can be, but I was able to wakesurf behind it w/ no rope and wakeboard just fine!
EDIT: forgot to say that we were able to wakeboard/wakesurf fine after we added ballast.. not stock.. our model was the '95 2002fslmLast edited by wakeboarder247; 04-27-2007, 04:27 PM.If you ain't falling.. you ain't trying hard enough..

Mike,
What model?
Nick posted these sites on another thread for towers:

As far as the best for the money, that is like asking someones views on God. You will get 5 thousand different answers, go with what you like and you wont go wrong...btw I have a Samson.
There are also some good threads on adding a ballast system on here and I will look for those for you if you cannot find them.
Welcome to the board, and post pics of your new ride

I had the 1200lb "Fat Sofa" by Launch Pad in the back of my Tige because we didn't want to compromise all the walking space in the boat with sacs. I needed more weight in the bow but never found a good sac for the front or walkway. The only time we tried to add weight to the front the wake washed out horribly. For 3 summers I boarded and surfed with just the "Fat Seat" in the back and it was pretty good for both wakeboarding and wakesurfing. The only downside was that with all the weight in the back (seat) and middle (engine) and not much up front, the surfing "pocket" wasn't that big and the wakeboarding wake had a great shape but was a little bit soft. It was still plenty good enough to get good air and throw inverts easily. Hope this helps!Attached FilesIf you ain't falling.. you ain't trying hard enough..
