i have a protech ace wake in matte black. the numbnuts that said helmets are for girls can suck it. helmets are great for wakeboarding. regardless of if you are hitting sliders or just trying new tricks they save you from serious pain. i've been knocked out by catching a heelside edge on a spin. if i would have had a helmet back then it would have never happened. the only ones i am somewhat against are capix and others with bills. there have been several incidents where the bill caught water during a fall and broke the rider's neck. ear flaps are a good design. i'd highly recommend them to anyone thinking about getting a helmet in the future.

so you don't like the bern one with a bill? its the one I have. Never thought about it breaking my neck. Maybe I'll try one of their other one's also.

i haven't heard anything bad on the bern's yet. i almost bought the byerly it looks sick. i think the bill on those is so minimal that it isn't a problem. the capix helmets are the only ones i know of that include neck snapping action.

Hey Dom, I'm trying to figure out where that shot was taken, help me out. Looks like Tahoe, but it seems like it's the east shore. Too far from the water to be Heavenly and you wouldn't go to Diamond Peak, would you? Soooo, not Tahoe?

I can't remember we skiied, I belive it was squaw valley. and alpine meadows are where we skiied.

1960 Winter Olympics were at Squaw Valley. My father was there. Alpine is the same basic spot. That shot would put you over in the Sun Bowl (backside)? I don't think you can see the lake from Sierra can you? It's been so long since I've been there I can't remember. So confusing. We should hook up next winter.

Sierra is almost to the top of the mountain when you are taking Hwy 50 to SLT... You might be able to see the lake from the top... I don't know... I haven't been up there.
