I found it tough to rent a truck with a hitch. When I was buying I was going to fly to San Fran and drive back but I couldn't find any place beside a UHaul (who needs a 24' moving truck at $800) that would allow a one way on a truck with a hitch.

I've driven cross country and you only need to see it once in one direction, its the same going the other way. I wouldn't give up some of the memories but I do agree that if you can, fly and drive back or pay a shipping company the $1,500 to ship it to your door.

CP - I was at the shop last night and Matt mentioned a boat that had a damaged tower. He said the new one is in route from Tennessee. They sure are some good dudes over there.
yes they are great guys over there, been there for me and everything when I needed them. they have the best service in the country, that is why the boat is there, and just great ppl. Tom and matt are great and know what they are talking about. Also one of the best things about them is when they sell tiges they dont have to talk bad about other boats to make tige look good because they know what they are talking about. I have not met the new service guys tho. Leanne and engrid (sp?) are also very friendly and some how manage to keep everyone in line out there. Matt has always been a great guy even if he hang glides instead of wakeboarding. thanks matt and tom
hopefully that is my tower and hopefully it is on its way in a truck to vegas.
