I haven't "installed" mine yet but the day after I bought it and had it in the boat I was pulled over for a safety check. As soon as I remember to bring a power screwdriver it is going by my feet."a what? i can['t] say/spell/pronounce that word..." - wannabewakeboarder

I think its a horrible place for one, but I haven't moved it yet. The problem is that its on the other side of the engine. so if there is a fire, its tough to get to. I'm guessing that's why they now put them near the driver.
Probably should check to make sure the thing works too. It clearly hasn't been used in the 10 years since it was put there.Reality is only an illusion that occurs due to a lack of alcohol.
