Fire Extinguisher

I'm taking delivery of our new 22ve this weekend and will need to mount a fire extinguisher. Where have some of you mounted yours?

I put mine right by my feet when I am driving. I also have one in the rear hatch area. You can never have enough fire extinguishers on a boat.

I have attached mine to the foot board by the drivers feet.

Lucky, I had to do my install. However, it didn't take more than 10 minutes to do though.

I haven't "installed" mine yet but the day after I bought it and had it in the boat I was pulled over for a safety check. As soon as I remember to bring a power screwdriver it is going by my feet.

Sounds great, is it at the Norman store or down at the Wylie. If its at Wylie, I may have to stop by and see it.

Driver's footwell, all the way back on the left.

I've never seen a Tige with it mounted differently.

Well there is someone that isn't normal like us!!!! Jleger, how easy of an access do you think this is compared to where the others are placing them??????

I think its a horrible place for one, but I haven't moved it yet. The problem is that its on the other side of the engine. so if there is a fire, its tough to get to. I'm guessing that's why they now put them near the driver.

Probably should check to make sure the thing works too. It clearly hasn't been used in the 10 years since it was put there.
