    Question for Lee

Lee I have a question about the tower light switch on my 06 24ve. I see that it is already pre wired without a relay should I run a relay anyways and if not how may amps can I run thru the switch. Any imput is appreciated

I think the switch is rated for 20 amps but cannot remember for sure. Look under the dash at the breaker box and see what the breaker shows. It would not hurt to run a relay any ways.

My tower light switch is tied to a 20 amp fuse. Spent awhile under the dash last weekend finishing the wiring for the ballast system
        Let it be!!!

                    Fuel Flow Transducer.

                    What engine do you have?
If you have the marine power engine, then you will need to place the flow transducer just before the fuel pump.
The transducer needs to be vertical!

It looks like you had to pull the floor up to take that pic. May I make a recommendation:

I would try to install/mount the transducer, filter, etc, in a location that would be easily accessible for service and inspection. You don"t want any more splices in a fuel line than you need because each one is a potential leak so make those splices where you can get to them if needed.

                          Juniors,

That is your ballast system next to the tank there? Is it an optical illusion,or does it look like there is not enough space to rotate the brass fitting onto the through hull? How did you do it?

I thought that we were told that adding a fuel flow meter could be done without hooking something up to the fuel lines because the ECM is already programmed for it? Does anyone remember that thread?

                          Nice install pics, Paublo.

Tall, on the '07s, the dash and gages are changed, so it may not be the same as it was on my '04- but if I remember right, the existing gages would accept the signal from a fuel flow meter, but you would lose one of the other functions. And the actual meter (or device that read the flow) would still have to be purchased and intalled. That's why I went ahead and just added the gage too.

I remember in the thread that the guages were programmed by Faria for the options. Ours were not programmed with the Fuel Flow functions. Someone had confirmed this with Faria
