Well I finally brought my boat home from the lake and started my upgrades and I thought that I would post some pics as I go. I'm installing docking lights, ballast switches, tower lights, and a fuel monitoring system so that I can tell finally how much fuel I burnt and what my current gph is

Where did you mount the switches? Also, where did you get the switches for the ballast from?

Looks like the switches are mounted on the side by the heater switch.

Yah, can you give us a zoomed out pic of those switches, thanks.

What did you use to cut the docking light holes, look great.

Better countersink those screw holes if you do not want spider cracks.

I gotta know where those switches came from!

I ordered the switches from Carling they make the switches and then I had a company called Fast Signs make little stickers to put on the lenses. Lee I did countersink the holes

Awwwww, that's a smart idea.... having the sign company make the stickers over the lens. I have been working w/ one of carling's distributors here to get something to work!

That's the exact same spot I was gonna put my switches.

What did u use to cut the hole for the lights?

For the lights I used a jigsaw and a medium blade it worked great

REALLY? I used a jigsaw cutting open the hatch beneath the glove box to make it bigger to get my amp rack in. I was using a ceramic blade designed for fiberglass. I had gelcoat chipping off every which way. I even had it totally masked off and was cutting through the tape. Still chipped off. Now I'm just gonna make a trim ring to go around it and clean it up.
