I've decided to go with a Monster tower, because of price and good reviews from some of the guys on here. I'm just happy to get rid of the metcrap. The guy who welded the typical broken joint told me that when I get a new one, I should take it to a scrap metal place and get some money out of it. Does anybody have any idea what I would get out of it, or have any other suggestions on what I should do with it? Thanks!

G- Money, you do not have the same tower that Sooner has. Yours is also made by Metcraft, but at least yours is not known to break. The 2001 metcraft was a real humdinger. It breaks and it is fugly, to say the least. I have the same tower as you do, (recently posted a thread about replacing it, in fact) and am considering an upgrade, at least it would be cheaper than a whole new boat.Be excellent to one another.Comment
