Getting rid of my metcrap finally! Question?

I've decided to go with a Monster tower, because of price and good reviews from some of the guys on here. I'm just happy to get rid of the metcrap. The guy who welded the typical broken joint told me that when I get a new one, I should take it to a scrap metal place and get some money out of it. Does anybody have any idea what I would get out of it, or have any other suggestions on what I should do with it? Thanks!

Send it back to Tige along with your bill for the new tower......

We have the crappy tower to on our 05 24v. We just went out and got some new board racks so everyone reach them...

Anything is better than the Metcrap. You might get $20 out of it.

Mount it to your roof and use it to tie a rope off for a trampolene.

Turn it into a ghetto roll bar for an old truck.

Give it to some skate boarders to make some rails out of.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

G- Money, you do not have the same tower that Sooner has. Yours is also made by Metcraft, but at least yours is not known to break. The 2001 metcraft was a real humdinger. It breaks and it is fugly, to say the least. I have the same tower as you do, (recently posted a thread about replacing it, in fact) and am considering an upgrade, at least it would be cheaper than a whole new boat.
            Be excellent to one another.
