Yes. I did the same thing you did. I already own several amps, sub, and tower speakers. So I just purchased the premium package and requested that they cut the holes for the 2 bow speakers that aren't included in that package. I picked up a set of the same speakers that are coming in the boat for $250.

What kind of tower speakers, amp, and sub do you have for your boat when it comes in.. Now that I made all the decisions about what to get on the Tige I need to figure out what type of sound system to put in her when she's ready!

          I have the following:
Wetsounds Pro80's for the tower. Could possibly add a 485 or Pro60's later this summer.
          Kicker Solo 12L5
Kicker 650.4 (bridged for the tower speakers)
          Kicker 350.4 (deck speakers)
          Kicker 750.1 (sub)

That is correct. I think it's the clarion CMD4 or something like that.

As promised, here is where the two other speakers are supposed to be located. I had the holes cut for these speakers.

Just read through the Thread. Nice job on the color and options. We just ordered a 22Ve' in February and we now have an expected delivery date of 4/23/07. We got a call about 3 weeks ago about the teak platform, which we were told that the company that provides them to Tige' could not keep up with the orders. It was upgrade to the fiberglass ($175), or wait an additional 6 weeks - easy choice for us.

On your option list, the only thing that you may want to consider for your vision air seat is to make it adjustable. This is an option, and I believe it will be well worth it. My wife is 5'-2" and the needs the extra boost.

We also choose not to get a factory audio and have one installed after market. We will be able to save some $$ and get more of what we want. This is what I think we are going to have installed:

                  Sony HU - CDX-GT510
                  Sony Remote - RM-55M
                  Interface Adapter for iPod XA-110P
Cabin Speakers (5) Rockford Fosgate T162C

Here's our Tige' at the factory

One last thing you may want to consider with your color scheme is black background on your rub rail. I have the same colors on my 07 24VE and the black rub rail vs white adds a nice touch. Unfortunately you can't configure that on the build tool. You should be able to see it in the first picture.http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...=maiden+voyage

Wakewilson how were you able to get those "in production" pictures of your boat? Our 24VE is being constructed at the factory as we speak and we would love to get some progress shots of it.

Our Tige' dealer was able to get them through the Tige' factory area rep. Our factory area rep has been awsome through the whole process. I'm sure you could ask your dealer and they can set you up. Good luck.

Well I got the call I was expecting to get today.. Dealer called and said that they were out of teak and that we had to get fiberglass. My dealer said that the company that Tige gets its' teak platforms from is no longer in business and from his understanding, he doesn't think that teak will be available through Tige anymore.. I find that hard to believe though with relatively high demand of teak but you never know.. maybe teak platforms are extinct!

My dealer also told me some GREAT news! He said that the Tige rep contacted him and they had a cancellation or something at the factory and he asked if he wanted to fill the spot w/ (my) boat. Dealer said yes of course so my 22Ve went into paint today! So my new expected completion date is May 1st!!! Placed the order on Friday, April 6th at about 5pm. Dealer sent the order to Tige on Monday, April 9 and if they hit the expected completion date then it will be complete in 3 weeks 2 days! Tige rep is supposed to send some pics tomorrow of my boat (or hull at least) out of the paint booth so I will definitely post them if/when I get them!
