The tower mount mirror is a good one. I can't imagine having it on the windshield after having it tower mounted. Only wat to go.

the Lexan walkthrough screen closes off the walkway under the windshield. Nice to have on those cold days and another real good option.
lol.. I assumed the rear hatch locked the rear hatch.. I guess my question should have been, will you be able to lock all the rear compartments?

I demo'd an '06 22Ve and they had a slide in windscreen door but you had to remove it to walk through to the bow so I'm assuming the walkthrough lets you "walk through" So is the Lexan walkthrough like a saloon style swinging door under the windshield?
If you ain't falling.. you ain't trying hard enough..

What is the difference between the stock flip-up bolster seat and the Vision Air chair? The stock seat has the hole in the back and the Vision Air is mesh right? And the stock seat seems a little shorter in the back.. is this correct?

So far the options that I am FOR SURE getting are:
      -Tige 900lb ballast Definitely agree
      -SpeedSet Cruise Control Definitely agree
-"E" Series Tower This isn't the "BIG" tower is it??? Isn't the the Z tower?
-Stainless Steel Appearance Pkg and SS Rubrail I have this on my 21i and I love it
-EIDB Dual Batteries I have the same on mine and just gives you more options and the safely
-Vortec 5.7L 340HP Same motor minus 5hp since mine is an '04 PLENTY of Power
-Premium Sound (just basic sound and then I will install a killer audio system)

      Contemplating these options:
-Bow filler cushion I have this on mine and I love it!!! Easily seat 3 peeps up there! Nice addition @ a cheap price
-Tower-Mount Billet Mirror Bracket I don't have one of those but a buddy of mine does and it is sweeeeeet! A tad bit pricey but makes your line of sight great!!!!
-Swivel board rack DCSNOW has these on his RZ2 and they are AWESOME!!!! I think they are WAY overpriced but I think in the long run would be sweeeeeet to have
-VisionAir Mesh Seat AWESOME! Worth the money!!! I think they are like 799 or so????????? not sure
      -Cockpit Table

      More questions...

-Where are the stock pull-up cleats located and where are the "additional pull-up cleats" located?
-What is a "Lexan Walkthrough Windscreen"? I have the walkthrough lexan screen and I absolutely love it. The "Leather" stock ones that came on the Tige is worthless!!!! Never held right from day one!!! Lexan is perfect and provides a great spot for the "just out of the water" rider in cold conditions when you have a heater!!!!!!!
-Where is the "Rear Hatch Lock" option located? What does it lock?

Yeah Matt's RZ2 is one of the hottest looking boats I've ever seen! And the worst part is that beast probably looks even better in person!!!!! SWEEEET

The Vision Air seat is a little taller and provides ALOT more drainage and I personally think it is more comfortable then the standard chair! VERY awesome and innovative!

I have locks on my rear hatch but that may be totally different since I have a 21i and you are looking @ a 22Ve.... basically it just locks the compartments. I could live with or without it.

Good luck and definitely post some pics up here. I wish I could have ordered my first one but I bought mine off the show room floor. I would have definitely had the stock ballast installed though and probably tower speaker setup. That underwater transom light looks freaking awesome too!!!!! over 500 bucks though.........a little salty but still looks sweeeeet! Good luck!

2 near the back and 2 about where the windshield starts to curve. The 5th goes on the nose of the bow (about where the standerd nav lights go) this is great fot anchoring/ beaching as the bow eye is way to low to reach.

What is a "Lexan Walkthrough Windscreen"?
Pic below. We use ours in thr Spring and then put it away til Fall.

I belive all racks now are swivel. I don't hink you can get a non-swivel rack from Tige.

Be carefull, the last guy that asked me about color schemes had red or blue in his mind and I told him my opinions on colors and he ended up with an orange/graphite boat too! (Not that those color schemes are bad, I just personally like to do something different) http://www.tigeowners.com/photos/sho...cat=all&page=1

The Z series tower is also a sweeeet tower. If you have the extra money I would say to get it. I think this makes the boat too.

The rear hatch locks only the Port side.

Out of your options that you are contemplatin I would say to get the swivel board racks. That will be one option you want to get. Everything else is nice to have but it wont make your boating experience better.

100% sure that the "Z" only comes with swivel only as they are part of the upright.

Out of the 3 boatshows I went to, all of the dealers ordered thier "E" towers with racks, so you are probably right.

Just looked at the Tige website. They do not list a "board rack" under standard features. Under options, they list only "swivel board racks". Looks like you can get no racks or swivel racks.

I'm not saying racks are standard...just that if you are getting a rack, it will be swivel. I don't think they offer a fixed rack. At least that was my impression...and it wasn't an option on the order form.

So does anyone have a copy of the order form w/ the prices of all the options that I could look at. This would be very helpful before I go to the dealer to order my boat so I can calculate out everything I think I want/need.

Do other people's rear hatches actually lock? Mine have the locks to secure them... but no key to actually lock them. When I ordered it, I thought they were supposed to be an actual keyed lock to secure them.
Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.

Mine has a key that locks the hatch. I havent used it yet though.

She's got a bimini now and tower speakers... will try and take some new shots tomorrow.
oh... and the F150 is lifted w/ 33" muds on it now.

One of my personal pet peeves is the vinyl The standard vinyl pattern has a dark area on both the seats and the covers of the engine and rear storage compartments. Those get so hot! I find myself playing hopskotch on them to keep my feet from getting burned. Where I live it is always sunny and can be 110 degrees, but it is even a problem on days not that hot.

I think that Coach ordered his with lighter vinyl in those areas. My dealer tells me it would not be an upcharge to choose different vinyl on the seats and engine cover. I would do that for sure!
                              Be excellent to one another.

                                ORDER PLACED!!!

First and foremost, thanks to all of you that posted pictures and/or gave me your input. You all replied so fast that I was able to finalize what I wanted in less than a day! This time yesterday.. I was very indecisive but now I have placed my order and am extremely excited!

I have attached the color scheme from the "Build my Tige" that I chose. I tried to save some money by not getting the hull or deck painted and leaving them frost. Thanks to all of you that showed me your color schemes!

Here is the final list of options that I ordered for my 2007 Tige 22Ve:
-Tige "E" Series tower w/ board racks
                                -Teak platform
                                -Tige SpeedSet
                                -Tower-mount billet mirror bracket
                                -Stainless steel appearance package
                                -Stainless steel rubrail
                                -Boat cover
                                -VisionAir mesh seat
                                -Center bow cushion
                                -Cockpit table
                                -EIDB dual battery system
                                -900lb Tige ballast
                                -340HP Marine Power Engine
                                -Premium sound package
-Red tandem axle trailer w/ swivel tongue

I decided to go w/ the Premium sound package because the Power Premium was $1300 dollars more and IMHO, not worth the money. Once my boat comes in I will take it to the local stereo shop that installed the system on my old Tige and have a fiberglass tower box made w/ 4 6x9's and a subwoofer under the dash. This should end up costing around $1300 and IMO will be way better than the Power Premium package. The type of box I am looking at is something like dyldebus has on his black 24Ve (also attached).

So now all there is left to do is wait... and wait... and lose many a night's sleep... Thanks again to all that helped and I will post pics as soon as I get some!
