Another YES vote for Samson. I have one just like Sparky & Kscales.

Call Scott at Samson, he'll get you hooked up right! I also talked to him at the boat show this year about adding more racks to mine. I have the same as Sparky with room for 4 boards and 1 surf board,, still not enough. As $$ are available, I'll be adding more.

Kscales, I want your speakers! I have the single set up. I wished now that when I ordered mine I would have got those. It's now $800.00 more!

I love the look and performance of the quads.... I am sure it's not as potent as the wet sounds but for us, the look simple convenience of the quick release and performance of the set are perfect for us.

did I hear you right, 4 boards and one surf? Mine only can do 3 boards and one surf.... did I miss a option?

Another Vote for Samson

I had the Samson Razor put on last year because it was much easier to deal with than the Tige tower. I have to lower my tower to get in and out of my slip and the Tige had too many connection points. The samson has one handle on each side, unscrew and it hinges down. Swivel racks are great as well. Built into the support so very sturdy. It was the first one they had sold at Ski Dock and I thought they might sell some more of them but I think they are pretty tight with the Monster guys for after-market towers.

Scott at Samson is great to deal with. He can answer all of your questions. I think the razor is only made for the Tiges which is why they don't show it on their site (definitely needs some work). It is next to impossible to find the photo gallery on the site. If you contact him he can send you some good photos of the tower.

I have the older Sampson tower and with them I can add a second set of racks on both side. What is great about the second set is they swivel.

Right company and site forsure. Wow- they do need a update...

The tower is awesome! I love mine, easy up and easy down. board racks are super smooth while loaded and I really like the option of the quick release speakers.

Yo Kscales, noticed your location was Mission BC... I'm in Van too... and ordered almost the same boat as yours, black 22ve, samson tower/removable speakers etc. at the boat show in Feb. Did you get your boat from Johnathan at Redline? Just wondering how long it took you to get it? I got a call at the end of Feb saying that it was in production but haven't heard anything since.

Actually I was there last weekend and he was telling me that my color combo is being ordered quite a bit now and that he has a bunch coming in soon. My guess your boat will be here very quick

Mine is a early 07 bought in Oct of 2006 and put into winter storage until now

I've attached a couple of more pictures of the swing in racks before they were mounted on the towers.

I'm not sure if Samson is actually making them but Scott there is very helpful and he may still put one together for you.

They are really solid and can be adjustment in many different ways. I hope my posting about them on this forum will encourage other to ask Samson about buying them.

Kscales - I'm from the lower mainland also and I absolutely agree with you about Jon at Redline. I was all set to get a Malibu XTI but changed to a TIGE after I meet with him. So far in three years he has not disappointed me. I cannot say enough about how good he is.

Can't wait for the new boat to come in... You're right on the service, Jon's a cool guy and has been great so far.
We usually frequent Pitt and Alouette, sometimes up to Osoyoos.
Where do you get out to?

we are going to check out Alouette and Pitt this year for sure. Last year we went to Stave most of the summer since its super close to where we live.

For road trips this year, Nelson, Salmon arm and Campbell river.

Make sure you post pics of when you get your boat and we will keep our eye out for you on the lakes.

So many new Tige owners in the Lower mainland it would be cool to organize our own Tige day this summer to meet everyone.

Thats my question also. I got the Dbot5 surf and board rack. I am thinking of port side

I would go starboard, as most everybody on my boat seems to sit on the port side seats and would have to move to get to the boards.
