Someone had touched on this, but I thought I would ask as a topic. Have you removed, or would you remove your short pylon; If you did/do, what did/do you do with the hole. I am really thinking of losing mine as I have no use for it that I can fathom, and if someone did need it, I could always add it. I just need a solution for the hole.

Remove the short pylon

I'm definitely curious to know too. I want to remove the short pylon (it is just in the way), but I don't know what to do with the hole.
When I was at that boat show, I was admiring the fact that Malibu's were spring loaded and the Mastercrafts had a removal pylon with a metal plate that would pop right in to fill the holes. This is definitely a nice touch.

I had thought about doing this as well and thought that the wire hole filler thingies on desks (were you run the cables through the desktop) might actually be the right size and be flush. I know my desk here at home the hole at the back of the desk looks to be the same size as the pylon hole and it's a snap on plate."Call me anything you want ... Just don't call me NOBODY!
