    Looking for a Tower

I am looking for a collapsible tower for my 1998 2200iWT Can anyone suggest one at or below $2000 How about a Roswell or Xplosion

XPT's don't look bad and monsters are nice...and affordable because you can get the tower and a few acessories for less than $2000.

      tower

I think the Monster at $1,195 shipped to you is the best buy for the money. No squeaks and rattles.

I really don't like the look of the Monster and does it fold down?

Yes, it folds, take a look at the gallery, I didn't like the look of it either until I saw it on a few more boats.

              I like it now

Monster folds. Good luck finding a different brand for less money. The Skylon Swoop XT was my second choice, but I read several reviews with it rattling.

I am a big fan of Air Boom towers. Here's a link. http://airboom.com/aireal_3d_towers.html

Airboom shows 53" front to rear. On the older Tige's you would have to side mount either the front or the back to get that width as it will not clear the windscreen. IMO the side mounting looks ghetto.

Definitely go for the Xplosion. I have the custom tower, but I have seen their kit towers in person and they are sweet!

Here is the website and some pics:

This is the kit tower that is under $2000

                        Here is the custom tower:

moki, if you don't mind how much did your tower cost? Is yours that much better than the one for just under 2000 ?Also is that the only dealer around? who installed yours?

I think the customs are around $3000 with $300 in installation, I did a lot of extras so I don't remember the price of the tower only. Is it worth it? The only difference that I can see is that the custom tower is fitted to the boat at the base, so there are no visible mounts, there is an extra bar above the windshield that may give it more rigidness, and they swoop more. They were just launching the kits when I got mine installed and I was already down the path of the custom tower, otherwise, I would have seriously considered the kit. Xplosion has a network of dealers and I believe that the kits are also going to marketed under the Fusion name as well. Give Mike Smith a call at Xplosion and he can provide you with more detail.
