found a place around my house that buys and sells towers from dealers. They have a XTP launch with the #'s, the guy told me there is a place that could refit the tower. What do you think?
I had looked at those too...see those removable legs.....looks like it would be really noisy, and not rigid enough for me. Mixed reviews on it. 90% of the tower I chose are awesome reviews.
They had one on a Tige'
On the wider boats, like the one he has 2200, it is really hard to beat the look of the monster. The only time they look slightly "different" is straight on from the side, and even then in the water, they still look good. In person they are a nice tower...I think the photos don't do much justice.
AND
Monster bought XTP towers recently, and is now selling their universal too.....might check it out, thought I don't know how good it would look on an original style Tige'.
Roswell is who makes the Supra towers- I've seen a couple of these- very solid and look sharp. Actually thought about putting one on my 22v to replace my factory tower the year before last.
Monster towers are ROCK SOLID... when installed right. Plus, you get a free calendar with bam-bam and company!
XTP- wasnt sure who acquired who, but they're one of my fav companies. I'm running a set of their board racks on my deuce deuce vee. Absolute premier quality materials.
Wake designs- ugh. where do I start? how about cheap pot metal that they used (and still use) on their board racks? Oh yes, and they're chromed to hide this. Then theres the dryrotted straps on the racks. These never lasted longer than two months of use. I went through THREE pairs of wake designs racks (broken- actually had a board fall and hit someone inside the boat while underway) and THREE additional sets of straps (dry rotting). Special thanks goes out to Tige for replacing these every time they broke, and special thanks to the Ski dock for biting the bullet and setting me up with some monster racks to make it right. Bottom line- I'd never buy anything wake designs makes. ever.

This is my favorite tower. If you haven't seen it, you need to. They look great and the functional design is second to none. Their swivel board racks are rock solid and the integrated bimini/wakesurf board racks are just the nuts.
When I get my next Tige, this is the tower I will go with.
