Any of you guys ever thought about making a platform out of any of the synthetic decking materials? You'd eliminate the maintenance and have the look of your teak platform. (Sort of). Just a random thought that popped into my head.

You'd have to add a center brace.

I spend more time wiping down my boat than I do maintaining my teak platform. There's always something to do when keeping your boat in tip-top shape. That said, it really doesn't take all that much time.
