    Cool, thanks Lee.

    Dogbert: I'm sure it doesn't help I probably should get a better alternator and Dual batteries. I just wish that stuff was cheaper!

      The dual battery setup is cheap....I would check your alternator to see what kind of amperage it generates.

        One battery runs the power plant the other is for acceries this is a drive by wire engine , part of the power comes to the ecm from the engine battery and part from the house battery it is very important that you never run anything other than the engine off of the engine battery, and do to the comunications between computers it is important to maintain proper votltages between batteries. There are two computers , tac and engine management.

          What fool thought it would be a good idea to power an ECM from two differant batteries knowing good and well that the ECM will be programmed to react to voltage changes

          So, it's safe to say that this issue only exists on Tiges with EIDB? If so, all we need to to is move all the battery feeds for the TAC and ECM over to the starting battery like the single battery Tiges.

            The system works perfectly fine if you dont change things, like a battery at a different rate can effect it , or a power surge due to a larger draw or , hooking up items improperly, I suggest you consult your dealer if your problems continue after you check all of your grounds and battery volts. We have had a lot of people hook up the batterys incorrectly , especialy if they had there stereo modified. If they leave a ground loose from the stereo it can back feed the systems.

              Sounds complicated. Having said this, I was talking to the service manager at the Ski Dock and he said they have had no issues whatsoever with the Marine Power powerplant.

                I never said there is any problem with marine power , what I said was these are areas to check for your particular problem that you gave symtoms too.Remmember nothing is 100% we are just trying to help each other out to make for a happy day on the water.
