I have the threesome from wetsounds.....only thing i would ever recommend. looks awesome on the RZ!
the sound is just insane.
I took the boat down to georgetown waterfront....went about 600 feet away and jacked it up....I sware george bush got pissed.

If you like to stand up on the back of the boat and have your tunes cranked up, you will not be able to use the NVS or Wetsounds w/o line drivers to turn them down independantly. They will rip your head off and are a bit harsh. I have 6 fusions up on my tower and no rider I've ever had, has had problems w/ sound getting back to them. They are loud and clear! The NVS are about the loudest out there, the Wetsounds are a bit softer but still VERY LOUD. I was going to switch to the Wetsounds but they were still a bit to harsh for me standing at the back of the boat.

Any of the pro-audio stuff is going to be louder than any kind of Car Audio speakers. I'll sacrifice a bit of volume for something that's a bit more pleasing to the ear though. Which IMHO, the Fusions do nice.

Good point here Tanner. I have PAC-1 Controlers to each of my amps so I can control the sound of the Tower, Cabin and sub independently so I don't blast everyone out when I have a rider. This is a must with any set up IMO.

the other prob i have is im not footing the bill, im just looking and showing my dad whats out there. its his decision. im just doin my best to sway him the right way. and we kinda like a smaller profile speaker than some are

But you can only use 2 of your 6 amps, I only have two amps.

hey now, since when did we have to limit the amps? I only use 1 amp for my NVS, but the other 5 go to my subs and boat speakers

Coach, I have basically the same set-up you do w/ my amps. I'm about done w/ the amp rack. You'll appreciate it, as those .4 ZX's are monsters and eat up alot of space. I'll get pics as soon as I'm done. But lets just say they are totally hidden, except when wanted to be shown off and you lose no storage space. Also the wires are totally gone

I would have been done already , but I ran into some issues w/ measurements and have had to cut into my baby

Then I am OK with that. I bought my amp at Radio Shack for $29.99. I think that it is rated at 20 watts -- it rocks!!

yeah, I have to put it all in, it's going to be rough. I'm still trying to figure out how I wanna build my boxes. I think I have it figured out, now just gotta do it. Gonna wire everything over the next two weeks I hope, and then start some building of boxes.

My sentiments exactly, especially with the newer boats...they are even louder than mine was before FAE. I'd rather listen to music than hear exhaust any day.

That said, you can still hear my tunes a mile a way and I only have 1 amp
