RESCUE YOUR BOAT AT ANY COST?

    http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/sh...ad.php?t=14984

Read page 1 then skip to page 20. That is pretty awesome. I would do the same for my loved one.

I saw this on Wakeworld and thought it might be worth sharing.

That experience is absolutely amazing. How did you ever find that thread. The fact that it they were just doing it today is amazing also, almost like watching it has it happened. I'm going to be watching CBS news tonight to see if the local station picks up the story. I wonder how much the helicopter cost.

Pretty cool story. I am glad that it all worked out without any injury or boat damage.

Pretty amazing, and probably cheaper than buying a new boat. Wow...

That is cool. How in the hell do you get a boat stuck like that? Did the water drop that fast that day? I am more in disbelief about getting a nice NEW X-1 stuck to a point you have to have a helicopter get it out.

Pretty cool And nice way to save a boat. There is also a thread on the MC site about a Tige frozen in the ice. Check it out. http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/sh...ht=frozen+tige

Now there is a Youtube link to the video. This one seems a little better footage.

I am not sure it made perfect sense to me how it got stuck either. You would think with a little rain it would bring the lake back up.

3K seems cheap to me for that kind of rescue.

Great video. Hard to believe he went that far. Not sure what I would have done-probably started digging immediately and prayed for an AZ monsoon.

That's alot of dough. He could have almost purchased another one for the cost of something like that. I bet he knew an operator/owner. Our aircraft can be upwards of 4k and hour; and that doesn't involve long-line which I am sure is an upcharge.
