    Check this out:

I suspect that it would go fast. Looks cool. Nothing like 2000 HP

I read somewhere where at a certain point too many engines/props is a bad thing and can hurt performance. Anyone else see that? I'll keep looking.

Seems like it would be faster than 60kts. How much reckon that thing weighs. An 1800lb. skeeter can hit 90 with a 250.

          A 32 Fountain w/ twin 502's will do better than 60 I think

OT:I know Bill Lewis....he's a prick.....your scoutmaster should sell that boat, or burn it.

I have been in a skeeter doing 75MPH by GPS down the intercoastal canal......I never want to go that fast again.

You don't know what OT means? You're the king of it. In the business and sports worlds it means Overtime. In respect to this "topic" it means Off Topic.

Why would you spend the money to have 8 engines when like a twin engine boat could do better then 70mph.

I saw an ad for a Fountain boat that i think was a twin, that did 102+

Yeah, I've heard that too. It creates more drag than what it helps. Our 290 Sea Ray has twin engines with single prop outdrives. 290's with single engines have a dual prop outdrive. Dual prop outdrives on a boat with twin engines creates more drag than it helps.

Fountain 35 lightning, Twin 525s. 100mph+ 90 gallons per hour at W/O. LOL thats rediculous.

So maybe 70 mph is fully loaded?
