I don't know if any of you have had a chane to look at one of the new MC CSX's, but if it is one with a hard t-top instead of a full standard looking tower then they put board racks mounted on the gunwell. They look pretty good and seem pretty beefy. Of course they are from MC so I doubt it would be easy at all to try to imitate the mount, but might be worth a look.

That thing just looks too much like a Bay Boat (as in Gulf Coast angling Bay boat) for me to buy.

Off-Shore fishin' we go, you get best of both worlds, fishing and watersports. watersports 'til sunset then fish 'til ya leave.

Hey SP, me, you, and Bill Lewis can go fishin'

Check out www.2nsane.com for side or back mount racks, kinda cool.

alrighty, after 12 hours plus of riding this weekend on the RZ I have come to the conclusion about the racks.....
BUILD ANOTHER RACK ON THE SUPPORT!
it can be done! Move the top one up just a tab, and build another one on the lower part of the upright.
kinda what the xstar tower has. Thats the only way to get more boards on there.

                    PLEASE DO!

Actually...that mount that holds the board racks has a plate that you can mount downriggers or most anything else that you want on. It is a square stainless plate with a bunch of holes to line up with various things to bolt to it then you slide it onto the plate that is fixed on the gunwell. A prety effective multi mount system. I think MC builds it in house though so like I said the ability to find it and put it on a Tige would be pretty difficult.

I'd never put downriggers on my Tige...that's why I had to get a fishing boat as my second boat

Any pic of riding? Make sure to post up some pics of a how-to "add extra racks on a Z-tower".
