I have been looking for some property around Corona and was wondering if anybody has a place around desert shores on the (correct me if i'm wrong) The Salton Sea? Also what are some of the other good lakes for to buy waterfront at we are tired of putting our boat to bed for the winter we can move anywhere its year round skiing

I live in Corona, but Salton Sea is a long drive - 1.45-2.0 hours away. Not even sure if you can boat on the Sea. The closest lake to us is Elsinore or Perris. Elsinore itself is growing in a good way - services, etc. but I don't know exactly where you'd find lake front property there. So CA lake life is a lot different from up North. Not a lot of people in the tow boat world live on the lake. Most people trailer to and from. The upside to So CA life is the climate - you really can ride year round...no need to let your boat hibernate!

Salton Sea!
Do not even attempt to put a boat there!
It's a garbage lake now. Was nice in the 50's.
Corona is a long ways away from the Salton sea.
Map Quest it and you'll see that the Salton Seas is closer to Coachella.

Boy, I like the looks of canyon lake like the one for 2.2m it says its private but does it get very busy? My folks live on a private waterski/golf lake and it gets very busy on weekends thats why I am having my new place built on a different lake. dig out next week4-7-09 And still employeed for yet another week (subject to change at any moment)have we hit bottom yet?
