    Asking for your prayers

On Wednesday at 3 i am going under the knife. I tore some cartledge in my knee wakeboarding and they have to go in and scope it and sow the tissue back together. Supposed to be off the water for three weeks after that then i can start easing back to it. I am sad and will be bored. :..(

Banks - Sorry to hear about your knee, God Bless and good luck.
If life is a waste of time, and time is a waste of life, then let's all get wasted together and have the time of our lives.

          Banks,
Sorry to hear that. Just dont try and rush into it. Take it easy until its 100% or you will be out longer than 3 weeks.

I just got out of a cast, so I know what you mean. I wasnt even able to play Xbox cause I couldnt get my fingers to move. Got me out of changing the baby's diaper though.....

dood, scopes for cartilage now a days are like the flu. you'll be over it on no time and will be back on the water before you know it. if they offer rehab, take it and stick to it. otherwise just make sure to stretch well and excercise your legs well.

I concur I've had both of my knees done (snowboarding) and I have to say it wasn't that bad. I actually just took a local for the 2nd one and watched the whole procedure. Give it a couple weeks and stretch every chance you get.

                Banks,

Take it from a guy that has had 2 knee surgeries, take it easy and listen to the doctor. If they tell you to do exercises, do them and take everything very serious. If you listen and do as they say you will be 100% again and it will happen soon. Don't go out before they say because you can do a lot more damage to it. Torn cartilage is rather minor compared to what I had done and you should be back soon, but listen to the doctor. Good luck
