Springtime is here!

LovinPowell was kind enough to take me out last week to Quail Creek Reservoir. Water was glass, 48 degree butter.

He insisted on surfing, without enough weight. Still was good to get the boat out. His 21i is a terrific machine.

It really gets the blood going for springtime water sports. Good times are coming.

Now you're in trouble, us northerners are coming down. It snowed 2 feet at the cabin in the last three days. I'm gonna sled sled this and next week end, then I think it's to the south to invade your space.

Wahooo, the boat comes out of Dry Stack on the 15th. I am pumped, I will probably take her out for a little cruise when I get back from CO on the 24th.

Sweet glass tall, that is getting me pumped for this weekend.

Also March 11 is the start of Daylight Saving Time. My boat is stored on the lake 8 minutes from my work cant wait to do before and after work sessions. Stoked!

Problem is, that if I don't hurry the glass will disappear. In the spring we start to get wind. Lots of it. There is a town called Hurricane 10 minutes away from the lake...

Hopefully you can make it down, wingnut, before those springtime winds start to flare up. The absolute best time is late September and October...Glass every day, all day. Water temp still in the 70's. Air temp 80's.
