I won't go near that 6.0 again. It doesn't matter what Marine power does to the motor. Marine power had a really hard time getting that motor dialed-in, at my altitude. If they can get a reliable 5.7 that pushes 400+hp, I would consider that motor. Motors and 6000ft don't mix well. Maybe I'll get a 5.7, and throw a whipple charger on it. That would be Nuck'n Futs!Temporarily not a TO, but not gone forever... RID22 (Formerly K***k'n Futs!)

The only problem that the 6.0l has in the marine enviroment that we have come across is fuel purcullation. Every marine manufacturer has had this same problem , and they all have addresed it with a different fix. This problem of fuel purcullation causes a multitude of problems , stumble on accelleration, hard start after a short shut down, stalling if you idled for long time say cruiseing through a no wake zone to name a few. We adressed this problem and worked with marine power and can assure you that new 6.0l engines coming out from marine power will be the best you will be able to buy . The reason that master craft and others avoid the 6.0l and jump to the 8.1 is they have not been able to profect there 6.0l. The reason that tige boats perform so well with smaller engines and the others dont is do to a better hull design. The 24ve that pulled the pro am with 2500lbs minimun ballast , multible passengers, and 5.7l pulled riders with ease and at very reasonable fuel consumption. My boat is powered by the marine power 6.0l which is under extreme use , as well as I have sold a high percentage of 6.0l engines and as of yet have had no warrantee issues.
