Those are my two favorite lakes....... Naci is a better/bigger lake but San Antonio has better camping and facilities (bathroom/showers) and both have great water!!!!!!

Did you buy your Tigé from VS Marine????

I expect you two will be there on the second then since you can stay at home and enjoy a nice bed. Unless you want to come out and camp on the first.

Just want to make sure you are referring to Lopez Lake, about 10 miles east of Arroyo Grande. I think its the one with the water slides. Remembering going there years ago when I lived in San Luis Obispo.

I live in so cal......Richard Johnson lives in Paso. 20 min from the lakes, so if I go I will need camp.

I lived in Grover BCH for years and went to Lopez all the time.Things you should consider are lots of wind surfers, wind in the afternoon and jet skis. The lake is for the most part is narrow so the chop is a problem when there are lots of boats.

I guess we all have to learn sooner or later what lakes are good and bad. This may have been a bad choice but it has a nice beach front for the wife and this one was here choice. Plus I have to work in PISMO and Santa Maria all week. I have talked her in to Lake McClure in July. So we will be getting that one together also. For that trip I would love to have a house boat to tie up to since there is not much shore line there. Even with all the problems weather elements and lake usage it will still be fun. Who is going. This way we have a count on who will be there.

List me as "tentative". I won't know if i can make it or not until much later, of course this precludes any chance of camping more than likely.

Lopez lake is beautiful. My mother-in-law, her husband and his brother (further up the road) live on Huasna Rd, once you make the turn off before continuing down the lake rd. We fly out about once a year. I would love to live there, but the salaries suck!
