Aw stop....you're making me blush What's funny is that with all the money I've dropped refirbing my boat, I won't be able to build a decent stereo for another year....I still want to redo the vinyl before then. Maybe I'll get lucky and have anonymous gifts delvieredLast edited by spharis; 02-27-2007, 03:04 PM.http://www.wakeboatworld.com

Aye for Mr. Know It All Stereo Guy!
Cool. Thanks for the explano. I tried it both ways and then some and what sounds good to me is having that thing full of fill. It sounded a bit loose without it and it was a lot more work getting it dialed in. The fill really tightened it up and seems to sound better across the board. Much easier to dial in as well.
I think the most important thing you said was "what sounds good to you". By your logic, my sub sounds like crap. Slightly undersized box for my particular sub filled with fill. I dunno, sounds great to me and everyone else on the boat. It's like that and that's the way it is.
SP for Stereo President. You'll get your chance, smart guy.

I got a Ryobi for Christmas a couple years ago. It's just a 1/4" drive, and it works ok. I have a 1/2" Porter Cable that I like much more, plus it is a plunge router, which is 1000 times more useful IMHO.
This is the one I have.
