    how big are dash guages

I have an 03 20i. It has a dummy guage on the dash and I was going to put a wired stereo remote there. I already have the transom remote and know I need a Y cable and extension to run it.

The remote that works w/my system is 2.415" wide needing a 2" hole. Does anyone know how wide the guages are and how big the hole is behind them?

that seams about right. Are you wanting someone to check for you? or just asking in general? I'll check tonight if you want. I have that same dumy gauge, just let me know.

Pretty sure Tige' only uses 2" and 4" to date, a dealer would know better.

i agree based on what I remember seeing and what not. if it's too big you can always make a spacer fit, and if it's too small dremels work great

          dom,
If you have the boat right there at the house would you mind checking size.
Mine is in storage away from the house. I should have had one put there in the first place, but was only thinking about the transom. Now I know what a pain it is to have to open the glovebox to lower the stereo or run to the back of the boat.

                Thanks dom.

I may have to go see what kinda space I have between the guages. Might try to squeeze it in. Looks like I am going to the storage this weekend. It is just so hard to go and not hook up and hit the lake.

the hole is 2 inches, so you should be fine. Bring a dremel tool and widen it just a bit if you need to.I had to do that on my cup holders, now that they are in you can't tell I did anything
