Don't get me started on that pansy pylon Tige puts on its boats Tige is the only manufacturer that would request I pull tubers from the lifting rings. Then they put the lifting rings below the waterline on the RZ2...
    Be excellent to one another.

Lee, glad you spoke up. I knew you would have a comment. Go read the thread on the ballast install if you need to remember what this site is all about.

On our non A/C aircraft, there are holes in the windows that have a little air vent that twist and locks open. Those would be sweet to have on the side glass for those real hot days. Wonder if I can get some....hmmmmm.......

I think ballast system would be great as standard equip. I don't know that we will see it. It would be going away from their marketing for all these years that all you need is taps. Taps is great, but on a wake boat bigger wake is always better, but where do you draw the line, 1000#, 2000#, 3000#, 4000#?

BTW, we've had several threads on suggested improvements...usually after one of us visits a boat show to see the other boats. Some of the ideas make it into the new models, some don't.

Speaking of just at a boat show, I was just at the Miami show, which is HUGE! The only tow boats there were Nautique and Mastercraft. They did not have an MC x-14 which I did want to see, but they had a couple different CSX's set-up various ways. Those things sure sit low in the water with the ballast full, the noses of the pickle fork were way lower that an RZ-2, seemed like you could take a wave over the bow really easy, plus it was $98,000 with the big crusader, hard top t-top, high end JL stereo set-up, and board racks. Nautique had a 236 Crossover and that had some neat things-I looooove the snap-out carpet above all things!!! The pop-up pylon and dedicated removable cooler storage behind the driver are all things I would love in a Tige (hint hint ), I don't know about the lever action hydro gate, it seemed really fragil feeling to move the lever back and forth on. They also had Shaun Murray there chatting with people so that was pretty cool. He was a really laid back guy and we just sat in the 236 for a little while since it was a little slow at the show on Sunday morning. When I asked him how much ballast he rides with, he said not to tell Nautique, but about 2,000 additional pounds ontop of the factory 1,056, and usually about 5-8 people. He just took delivery of a 236 for his personal use and said that is the only way to get a truly great wake out of it. He said the Air Nautique 210 had a "better" factory wake, but still needed ballast.
