    07' Adjustable Seat

I just ordered a 2007 22Ve. Wanted to get the adjustable height seat option. My wife is short (5'-4") and concerned about general vision. We also got the bolster seat but don't always want to use it. Does anyone have this and how do you like it? Is it easy to use and levers accessable?

Yes you must get it. I have it on my RZ2 and I am 6-1 and my wife 4-11. I still like it because I need it to come up a hair to see over the dash. The new dash is very high. As for the lever it is hard to get to. It is under the right hand side an back farther. I have to release the swivel and turn to the left to get to it. One it is set for the driver you dont' need to re-set it. My first piston had to be replaced because it wouldn't stay up. The new one is working great.

Thanks - good to know. So it must operate like a desk chair?

Yes, it is just like an office chair. Very comfortable as well. The bolster seat is fine but you don't want to drive around on it for long periods of time. The height adjustment is awesome and just a little thing that makes a big difference in the overall boating experience.

To some I seem big. At one time on our staff I was the 11th smallest!!! 10 guys bigger than me at 6'1" 230 lbs. We had a guy that was 6'9" 400+ pounds. He road a Harley and I felt bad for the bike.
