    dogbert,

same thing happened when I bought my first cycle. Guy totatlly blew me off, but then when I did buy it, and it took forever to get it, the owner stepped in and hand delivered it 300 miles away for free Needless to say I bought my next bike from them too.

Bought my wave runner the same way, didn't want to buy the one I did, but they were the only one's that wanted to wheel and deal with me, so I did and they made money.

Tige was the same way. first person just blew me off, so my gf and I (we had my dog with me too! kept on looking at the boats, this older getlemen came up and started talking, really nice, and needless to say, he got the sale that day.

When I bought my z, it was all over the phone. Sales manager was a ****, but then the salesperson started talking, and needless to say when I walked in there the sales manager couldn't believe how old I was The Owner of the store started yelling at the sales man about who was driving that car(It was me into the sales room for photos!) Made me feel good that he takes care of his cars before the sale. It was great!! They all couldn't believe I was buying the car

Dogbert, seems like you and me had the same experience with Sale & Ski. Glad the folks at Ski Dock aren't like that.

Couldn't agree more, my first boat was bought purely off of the fact that the dealer treated me with respect. Being 24 and buying a "luxury" item made all the other dealers, which there are a lot of here, think I was just jerking them around. Same thing with my Tige dealer, he answered the phone on Memorial day even though they were closed and invited me down to look at the boats since he was there painting the showroom. The mc deaker wanted me to give him a $500 deposit just to go demo a boat. When I asked him why a deposit was needed, he said it is a lot of work to launch the boat and clean it when we get back...the dealership is on a lake!!! I have heard not all the employees there are like that, but it turned me off none the less. If I don't get the respect and service I deserve, I take my business elsewhere. The bu dealer was very nice, they just don't offer any saltwater friendly powerplants

Still glad I got the Tige though

They must use that deposit thing to run business off. I had something very similar to that happen to me when I purchased my first Motorcycle. I was 18, and no on wanted to sell me a bike. I actually stood in a show room for 30 minutes trying to get a salesperson's attention. Finally I yelled...."So no one want to sell me a motorcyle....I'm paying cash!" Everyone up to and including the Service manager came out to help me. Then they wanted a similar deposit to test ride a bike. So I didn't buy a bike from them, and I would have as they had the better price, but I knew if I had to do something like that, they would not take care of me after the sale.

Ended up paying about 30% more for a different bike from a small shop that offered to deliver the bike to me, ( I was in college, and lived about an hour away) They even came to my house a couple times to fix some minor issues and do some routine maintanance. Money well spent in my book.

Mine does and only used them once last year.
                      Wouldn't care if it didn't.

I like mine having them to keep me from breaking the other ones getting in and out of the boat off shore. How hard is it to change the lights? My port side light is out.

Nav lights or docking lights that you have and could care less about. I like the fact that the shark-eye nav lights are down on the sides and not sitting up on the nose of the bow

I think I may play with mine to see if I can design them to point more up and out as opposed to down, you know so they actually work when docking
