    Hitch Cover

How many would buy a Tige hitch cover if a nice one was offered? I'm curious why Tige doesn't offer a nice aluminum one like other brands instead of the cheesy plastic one? I did a serch on eBay and squat came up, same with a general web search. I've a hole to fill and the plastic just ain't gonna cut it!

Would be nice. The logo peeled off of mine so I had to go with a Billet Chevy.

I would buy one. I still have the nice Sea Ray one that I got with our first boat. I also have a Boston Whaler that my parents got with their tender. I rarely use them though cause I leave my draw bar in most of the time.

I agree, my draw bar is in there most of the time, so a hitch cover would have to hit the right price for me to switch out.

I get far too many "will you come pull this trailer for me" calls to go without my drawbar.

My son has one on his Jeep and since the boating season has slowed, I put one on the SUV.

Held up so far but I'll let yall know if they show signs of early wear.

oh yah, i would probably buy a metal one.

I keep a drawbar on as well. I have a nice Tony Stewart cover, but since I cant find a lock for a 2 1/2" reciever, I don't want to put it on for fear of theft. Well, to be honest, I havent looked that hard for a new lock. Plus, I like the fact that if someone rear ends me, the drawbar will be one more thing for their front end to get through before they hit the frame of my truck. I kind of like the idea of ripping my drawbar out of someones radiator in the case of an accident.

I'd like a metal one. I have a plastic one now. This is my second one, the other one was destroyed by the car wash.

It would be nice if it said Tige' Towboats not just Tige'

My wife did that at the bank. She was in the drive through, and I had gotten out to go to the Quick E Mart next door. As I paid for my Saturated Fatty Goodness, I see an old geezer quickly come around the bank and stop about 2" from the draw bar. Then the Mr. Burns look-a-like inches up a little and smacks the back of the truck. From where I was I though he had hit the bumper, so I walk over, ready to crack a slim-jim over his head, and I notice that the plastic bumper of his Buick is impaled on my Draw bar, no damage to the truck. I look at him (hes still in his car) and he says "Whatcha gonna do, it didn't do any damage"

Where upon I just about laughed my self into a faint. I took down his license plate, had the teller give me her name, and we drove off. Probably not the right thing to do, but I was having a hard time thinking (laughing that hard does that to me) . When we got home, there was a little piece of his bumper plastic stuck between the drawbar tube and the hitch tube! I put it on my collectibles shelf, and I still laugh when I walk by it.
