Personally i can't see the likelyhood of that happening as attaching to the tower actually helps keep lift / upforce on the front of the tube. In fact i can see that being more likely the lower the attaching point.

Unless you have an older model where the ski pylon is attached through a heavy frame to the engine mounts -- Very solid.

If you submerge a tube regardless of how, hopefully you are paying enough attention to throttle to idle when it happens (and because we're all Tigé owners I know we would).

The people that really have to worry about this are the idiots who aren't paying attention when they are pulling someone. I know this is going to sound wierd, but beer does NOT take priority over pulling someone behind your boat.

Now I know that we are all responsible drivers, but there are the idiots out there (specifically the guy who damn near ran over my boarder last summer) who pay NO attention to what they're doing. They are too busy messin with the tunes or trying to impress some hotty in the boat he's got no shot with.

Bottom line, if you pay attention, you should never break a pylon OR a tower while pulling a tube.

            Ok, I'm all better now
Reality is only an illusion that occurs due to a lack of alcohol.
