What Boat should I get under 20' 6"?

I am looking for a boat to get for a lake that can only be 20 and a half feet long. I want a cross over boat to do wakeboarding and skiing. Probally want something used. Have been looking at maybe doing a v drive so the Switch V or the 20v. What does anyone think?

20v or 20i, both are good boats. I like the interior seating on the 20i better, but the v has a killer sunpad. The 20i seems to be a more suitable all-around boat as well. Just my opinion of course.

I have the 03 20i. It is a good multisport boat. Wake is decent w/o ballast great for beginner to intermediate. Like any style wake boat add ballast and it kicks it up a knotch. Good boat for skiing also. which will you be using for and how many people will you normally be roll'n with. It is the toughest 20 footer on the market have be out on some 3+ foot waves day and she runs right thru them.

Any truth to the RZ0- the 20ft version of the RZ2? I read some rumors on WW about it?

they came out w/the switch v in 04 and I think 05. this was to lower price the v drive. Go w/the 20v. if you have to stay uinder 20.5 and really want a v drive.

The switch v is a very good boat built 04 & 05 , the 20v in 04 & 05 was a different layout and felt more cramped inside , but for 06 they took the switch v design and basically made it the plusher 20v . I own a 04 switch i which has been a wonderful boat , 400 hrs and no real problems lots of hard usauge.

We owned a Switch V for 2 years. The boat was solid, but the interior was minimal, although that was the purpose of the boat. The ski wake is good, but you will want all kinds of ballast for the wakeboarding wake. I'm not talking 500lbs, more like 2000lbs. and then it will be equivalent to a 24ve with NO ballast. (We have a 24ve now)

love my 2006 20v, only had it for 10 months,
rock solid boat had a mishap with a 14 foot log but still made it to dock,
stays warm & dry in garage, sun pad is great, even been able to surf behind it.

I have the 05 Switch V. I would recommend getting the Rival ballast system or equiv. due to the fact that you DO NEED WEIGHT. Great surf wake, decent wake boarding wake, I have not skied behind the boat and I don't plan to but... The 05 is more plush than the 04 Switch V.
