Ok so I'm going to run two Orion amps to power the system. One two channel (HP 2400) for the towers and a four channel (HP 4800) for the four inside speakers and the sub. The HP 4800 amp is rated 65w x 4 @ 4ohms or 100w x 4 @ 2ohms. I'm thinking running the RF Powers T162C 6.5 (75w rms / 150 peak) in the boat parallel wired for 2ohms into the two front channels and bridge the two rear channels (200w) for the RF Punch Z3410 sub (150w rms / 400w peak).
Will this work ok? Will it heat up the amp more? Or should i series wire them? As i understand it series wiring retains the 4ohm rating, correct?
