I put myself into a corner on another website when I claimed that the 20V was AWSA approved for slalom competition. I had seen that claim both in advertising (the Tige 2004 brochure on the 20V page) and on this site. I did some research. An excerpt from the AWSA website is below and doesn't mention the 20V but does mention the Switch V is approved only for "recreational use". Does anyone have any background on this conflict? I know the 20V and Switch V have the same hull. Was that information from 2003? I just feel bad that I put my foot in my mouth and if nothing else I want to prevent anyone else from looking silly like I did.
