I am assuming you mean "deep cycle" and yes you can. Set your charger to automatic and let it trickle charge to a full charge.

you can, but a cheap charger does a bad job charging, so just watch out.

If you want a reliable and quality charger then check out Deltran Battery Tenders. I've been using the Harley-Davidson version made by Detran (battery tender jr.) for 6 years now without issue. In fact in the winter the charger is permantly connected to the bikes until the spring. They have a two piece quick disconnect harness that works real nice.

ha ha ha!! I think i'll use the dual pro three bank charger, supposed to be the best, and it can charge all of my banks Little pricy, but looks like it's spoke of the best.

WestMarine actually has them. I never seriously looked at em, but I did see em there.

I fully plan on having a "proper" charger for the boat come spring, but in the mean time, I want to charge my battery up and run my system off it to see just how long it will run at RMS levels.

Yes, I am bored waiting for boating season, and yes I can't wait for it to get here.

ha ha ha, I just got mine under the carport, and to get it I had to drill out a bolt, dam hex head bolts. Anyone know where I can get another one like it? I have the rat cage tower.

We had once considered bringing a generator (I have a friend that sells them) and setting it on shore at our party cove, then just running a line to my boat. Figured it was just to loud to keep it on the boat...lol. Decided against it. But hey, always an idea for those of you with land access
