yeah i was noticing that too. They should be good. I'll just have to decide. Like I said the price really has me leaning, but.... who knows. I'm not to that part yet of the project yet.

Dom what you said about the advertising and such ... yes it is true... to an extent. However, the examples I gave are in fact true! I've spoke with the district managers of the companies that make those products and they don't even try and deny it. In fact, they are the ones who came out and told me this.
Another examples would be TV's at Sam's and Wal-Mart ... Sometimes these TV's are using lesser grade components inside. This is the reason you'll notice the the Wal-Mart TV generally will have one additional # in the model number sequence compared to the same unit at a Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. etc. That's also the reason you'll see the same TV $400-$500 less. Of course the profit margin that Wal-Mart uses is less, but this "gutting" of products is a known fact. It's not every TV or product for that matter ... but there are some. Basically this allows them to offer what you percieve as the same product for substantially less, but keep their profit margins up. Price to consumer down, profit margins up, and # of units sold increased... great business model for a giant company! There are of course other examples, but I just used one additional one that is well documented in the A/V circles.
I'm not saying the costco batteries are of any lesser quality. Just be warned that it is a possibility.Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.

Tanner,
Thanks for the info. As for the tv's did you also know that basically two manufactors make all the tv's? they just change the names/components? I look at the tv's and realize something. If a bar runs a tv, then it can withstand a home use. A bar has this tv I'm looking at getting, had them for 2 years now and they are on 20 hours a day. I figure if it can handle that and still look just as good as what you can go buy today, it's worth it.
OK back to the batteries. I see your point and realize this, but another thing to look at is this. Batteries are designed to last, with a yr warranty I could replace them at the end of every season and not worry about it. Costco doesn't care, just bring them in and they replace them I love that part. The savings here would easily pay for the three bank pro charger I have been looking at that is supposed to be the best charger out there on the market, and it can keep all my batts charged Also, if the battery is taken care of, it will last IMO so since I plan on leaving them on a charger when not at the lake, I feel that the costco brand would be ok. ALL THIS BEING SAID, I still haven't decided what I am going to do Guess I'll do some more thinkingOriginally posted by G-MONEYIt hurts me to say it but go OU but only for this weekend!!!!
