I was concerned when I first saw the dash. Once I saw it on the water, I changed my mind, the numbers are large and clear, and I really like it.
When I go boating, it usually is sunny, (duh!) and I am never a fan of a dash with reflective alluminum on it or other metallic appearance. MC made a horrible dash a few years ago that I am sure would blind people if the sun hit it. It was dull out when I saw the dash in the water. I suspect that the metallic portion is rough enough that it won't blind a person, but it would be nice to hear from someone who has seen it in the sun.Be excellent to one another.

Yeah, I saw it on the website months ago and thought it looked a little weird but last night @ the boat show checking them out in person they looked pretty good........ I am still not exactly sure how the accuset works.....
But I agree as well I am not into random shiny objects blinding me while driving!!! kind of a hazard!!! Also the "vision air" seat option is REALLY cool!!!! *I think I named it right*

I LOVE the new cluster! the new speedset destoys any perfect pass in my belief with the one day I had on it. after a summer and 100 plus hours ill give you a real review.
the new seat is unbeatable
the shiny didnt bother me that much on the water. mabye a little less bling in the cluster would of been great, i am conisdering replacing the shiny if possible with moto green carbon fiber. then it will be totally sweetCIH/pcrew founder

Drove both an 06 with the first dash pic and an 07 with the new dash. Personal preference is the 07. Actually decided to get an 07 boat vs a remaining 06 primarily due to the new dash and speed set. Am told the 07 vinyl is different as well. Didn't pay alot of attention but I believe it felt softer.

Every time out with my RZ2 it was sunny and not once did I have an issue with glare. I also got an RZ2 out on the water in the summer (aug) and never had an issue. It is a dull brushed Al look not a blinged out mirror so it does not have a reflection back to the driver. The gages are very easy to read and use. The speed set is the bomb!!. Key point is my wife loved it. I set the speed and she dropped the handle and she only had to keep the boat straight. The speed set destroys MC's version of PP that they use. It is better than PP that I have used as well. Over all the new gage cluster is very easy to read gives you a ton of info. The only thing missing is a clock, but I never want to know the time while I am in the boat.Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.
